SumitI love the idea of phone backgrounds that don’t show any design from the front of the phone. This is a cool way for the phone to be a reflection of itself, without being distracting.
It’s interesting to note that this is something that Google is working on. The Google+ app is being optimized for the Android platform and not for the iPhone, and the design team is looking to make the phone background black without any other colors (or, maybe, with just white). The design team is also thinking about how to make the phone background “neutral”, which is just another way of saying that it’s not a black screen, but a black background.
I know I’m a little biased, but I think the Google phone is already quite neutral. It’s just that it’s the first one that is being optimized for the Android platform. It looks nice, it’s a lot easier to use, and it’s a lot more comfortable than a bunch of other phones out there.
That is the only complaint I really have with the phone. The phone’s white background is a little too much, and I think it could have been done without too much clutter. You could, however, add a border around the screen if you wanted.
