SumitI know it’s not what our audience wants to hear, but I feel like it’s something we should all be aware of. I know that it is easier said than done, but I wanted to share my thoughts on how to add location to an Instagram bio.
I know Instagram is a popular platform for selfies and photos of food, but I thought I’d provide a heads-up on a way you can add location to your Instagram bio.
First, you need to go to your Instagram profile. Click on your bio and then click “Edit Page.
If you don’t know what Edit Page is, it’s a setting in the top-right-hand side of your profile page.
You want to add location to your Instagram bio which includes information about where the photo was taken, location, and other things. When you add location to your profile, you will be able to tag people from a few different locations. One of the ways you can tag people from a different location is by using the camera icon at the top of your profile. Then you can go to that location and type their name, and add a location tag.
I tend to do this if I’m going to be posting photos from other locations. Most of the photos I post are from places I go to. For example, if I’m going to a party, I usually post the photos the first night I go, and then go back later to have a more in-depth look at what I saw. If I went to an awards show, I usually post it before the awards show.
It’s a good way to stay current with where you live.
I think people are missing a key point here, though. You should be tagging your location on the photo you post, not the venue (or the location) you go to. It’s not that you need to be an expert on location tagging, it’s just that location tagging is more important than venue tagging.
This is a topic that’s been on my mind for a while, but I finally got some answers from the community. With the release of instagram they’ve been moving away from the venue tagging that many people use. That was one of the major reasons that I liked the old photo-sharing app, but it’s been a huge disadvantage. Now that people are going to instagram, they have a lot more variety of what people tag their location in photos than they used to.
