SumitI think one of the most important things to remember when trying to find new images to use on our Facebook cover is that your Facebook cover needs to be a picture that speaks to the content of your blog posts and not simply a picture of your dog. I like to add something to my cover that makes me feel like I’ve read it somewhere, and that is a link to the blog post I was referring to.
Facebook has a lot of different cover options, so it’s a good idea to use a cover image that speaks to the content of your blog posts. If you use a picture of your dog as your cover image, then the blog post you’re referring to probably won’t be on your blog at all. Thats why we use the cover image of our dog in this video as our cover image.
Again, you might not be aware of this, but the cover is often the image people look at first when they see your blog post. It makes you feel like youve read it somewhere, and that youve probably shared it on Facebook. Plus, it helps build your blog’s authority with the search engines.
