I don’t think there’s anything to be said about the fact that you can’t see a map on a map, as if you’re not connected to a city, and therefore don’t know what it is. I do think it’s just a very strange way to describe an idea, but it’s not the only way. I just like the idea that it’s like a living thing, and it’s just this weird way to describe it.

I’m not sure what you mean, but here’s the deal: your brain is a great storehouse of information, and it is constantly making up stories about what it has just heard. It is capable of a great deal of creative imagination, but it is not a great judge of accuracy. It’s important to remember that the brain has a remarkable ability to invent stories.
